Forty years, and the children come home

Say your parents live off Kachahri Road and celebrate forty years of marriage this month. Your brother is coming by train from Gaya and you are driving down from Patna. You book the Anniversary Room Balloon Decoration for 6 PM, and your cousin takes the couple for an evening walk at Syama Sarovar Park. By the time they are back, the room is done and the whole family is waiting inside.

Anniversary tips for Sheikhpura couples and families

• Need the couple out of the house for an hour? A walk at Syama Sarovar Park or a visit to a relative gives the decorator time.
• If you have booked a hotel room, check whether the hotel lets outside decorators in and what time the room will be free.
• Family arriving on the Gaya–Kiul line? Leave a margin, since trains can run late, and book the slot to finish before the couple returns.
• Near the busy Gandhi Chowk crossing, an evening slot after the market rush is easier for parking.

What is included

The hearts, arch, ring or balloons pictured for the chosen design, put up by the decorator. Flowers, cake and dinner are not included unless the design says so.
