Office and corporate event decoration

Office celebrations are short and public: a retirement at 4 PM, a national holiday at reception, a new branch opening on a Monday morning. The decoration has to be ready before people arrive, fit the building's rules and look right in photos that may go on the company's social media. Funtook's corporate designs are priced from ₹1,699 to ₹7,499 and cover retirements, national days and office openings. Each design lists exactly what it includes.

The designs

Retirement and farewell

A retirement is often the most personal event an office celebrates. The Simple Retirement Decoration (₹1,699) fills a cabin or meeting room with 50 ceiling balloons, 50 floor balloons, a Happy Retirement foil banner and ribbons. The Goodbye Retirement Decor (₹2,999) is a wall setup with 200 balloons, a frill curtain, a Retirement card banner, fairy lights behind it and 50 balloons in bunches. Choose the wall setup if the farewell includes speeches and a cake, because it gives one spot for group photos.

Republic Day and Independence Day

The Republic Day Decoration for Office (₹2,499) has a 200-balloon arch for reception, 50 ceiling balloons, ribbons and five paper flags, in saffron, white and green. The same design works for Independence Day on 15 August. Place the arch at the entrance or behind the spot where the flag is hoisted.

Office or shop opening

The Office Opening Balloon Decoration (₹7,499) is the largest corporate design: a 6 x 6 ft backdrop with a 250-balloon arch and 100 balloons in bunches. It suits a new office, a shop launch or a branch inauguration where there will be a ribbon-cutting and guests.

Planning decoration inside an office building

Register the decorator with security

Tech parks and office towers usually need visitors to be registered in advance. Ask your admin or facilities team to add the decorator's name for the date and slot, and share the building name, tower, floor and a contact person in the booking notes. Delays at the gate eat into the setup time.

Choose a slot before people arrive

Time slots run in one-hour windows from 8 AM to midnight. For a morning event, book the 8 AM slot or, if the building allows access, the previous evening. For an afternoon farewell, a late-morning slot leaves time for the team to see it before the event.

Check what can be stuck on the walls

Some offices don't allow tape on painted walls, glass partitions or branded walls. Ask the facilities team which surfaces can be used, and tell us in the booking notes. A free-standing backdrop, like the one in the office opening design, avoids the question.

Keep walkways and fire exits clear

Arches and balloon bunches should not block corridors, emergency exits or fire equipment. Pick a wall in reception or a meeting area rather than a narrow passage.

A checklist for admin and HR teams

1. Confirm the event date, time and the room or area with the team lead.
2. Get the building's visitor registration done for the decorator's slot.
3. Ask facilities which walls and surfaces can take tape, and where the nearest power point is if the design has lights.
4. Choose the design and add the colours, the person's name (for a retirement) and the contact person in the booking notes.
5. Keep the invoice and payment reference for reimbursement; every design has a fixed, listed price.
6. After the event, remember that props other than balloons are collected, so don't let them go out with the office waste.

Making a retirement farewell personal

A retirement often marks decades with the company, and colleagues want it to feel personal rather than generic. A few simple touches help: print a few photos from the person's years at the office for the farewell table, ask the team to sign a card placed beside the backdrop, and keep the banner wording simple, such as "Happy Retirement" with their name. The wall setup in the Goodbye Retirement Decor gives a backdrop for the group photo that will likely be shared with the person's family.

Colours and branding

For a corporate event, the colours matter more than usual because photos may be shared publicly. Two or three colours taken from the company logo, plus white, usually look best. Chrome gold or silver adds a formal touch for openings and awards. Share the colours as names or hex codes in the booking notes and we'll confirm what can be matched for your design.

Booking and payment

1. Choose a design and check the "Package Includes" list.
2. Select the city, date and time slot. Same-day slots start at least two hours after you book.
3. Pay a 30% advance or the full amount online. We don't offer cash on delivery.
4. Add the building details, the contact person, the colours and any wall restrictions in the booking notes.

You can cancel within 24 hours of placing the order for a full refund; after that a cancellation fee may apply, and customised items are non-refundable. The cancellation policy has the full terms. Tell us within two hours of completion if anything needs attention. Product photos show the finished design; the real setup can vary slightly in colour or arrangement.
