Delhi works in many worlds at once. Ministries and public-sector headquarters line the avenues of central Delhi; banks and consultancies fill the blocks of Connaught Place and Barakhamba Road; tech and service firms crowd Nehru Place, Jasola and Okhla; hotels and airlines cluster in Aerocity; and retailers, from Karol Bagh's jewellers to Khan Market's cafés, open new doors every month. Our office and corporate decoration in Delhi has to switch between these worlds: understated for a ministry farewell, bold for a Karol Bagh showroom, on-brand for an Aerocity launch.
Four dedicated workplace designs span ₹1,699 to ₹7,499, and for everyday team occasions, Delhi offices also dip into our birthday and balloon collections from ₹1,299. Forward any design link to your admin head: the price and contents are right there.
| District | Typical workplaces | Common bookings |
|---|---|---|
| Connaught Place, Barakhamba Road | Banks, consultancies, company HQs | Farewells, festival parties, national days |
| Nehru Place, Jasola, Okhla | IT, service and manufacturing firms | Team birthdays, launches, openings |
| Saket, Bhikaji Cama Place, Aerocity | Corporate offices, hotels, airlines | Town halls, client events, openings |
| Central Delhi offices | Government and public-sector bodies | Superannuation farewells, Republic Day |
| Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Khan Market | Showrooms, jewellers, cafés | Openings, anniversaries, Diwali muhurat |
| Mukherjee Nagar, Rajinder Nagar | Coaching institutes | Results and felicitations |
For a quick send-off at a colleague's desk or in a small section office, the entry-level design is Simple Retirement Decoration at ₹1,699. When the whole department gathers, or the family wants the same look at home that evening, step up to Goodbye Retirement Decor at ₹2,999. Around 26 January and 15 August, when Delhi's offices, banks, schools and RWAs raise the flag, the ₹2,499 Republic Day Decoration Office dresses the flagpole or stage in saffron, white and green. And for a first day of business, Office Opening Balloon Decoration at ₹7,499 covers the doorway and the ribbon-cutting wall; tell us the muhurat and we'll be done before the pandit starts.
Birthdays, promotions and work anniversaries don't need a corporate design at all: a cabin dressed with one of our room surprise designs, or a garland in company colours from balloon decoration in Delhi, does the job nicely and costs far less.
Getting through the lobby is half the job in a Delhi tower. In Nehru Place, Jasola, Saket District Centre and Aerocity, building security typically wants the decorator's name, ID and sometimes a vehicle number from your admin team a day in advance, and materials often have to come up the goods lift. Where sprinklers, false ceilings or glass partitions make helium or tape a problem, air-filled designs on free-standing stands solve it. If the aim is to surprise the team, choose the earliest slot, and remember that fire exits and aisles must stay unobstructed. Take the balloons down before the office shuts, especially anywhere near servers or electrical panels.
Superannuation is a significant occasion in Delhi's many government and public-sector offices, usually on the last working day of the month, with a garland, a shawl, a memento and speeches recalling decades of service. Entry requires prior permission, so the organiser should share the decorator's name and arrival time with security or the administrative section. A dignified palette, such as ivory, gold and a touch of maroon, suits these offices, with space kept in front of the backdrop for the dais and the lamp-lighting. Finish well before senior officers arrive, and keep the setup modest; in these offices, understated elegance is always appreciated more than spectacle.
Delhi's retail scene never stands still. For an opening in Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Khan Market or a mall in Saket, share where the decorator can unload, since parking in market areas is notoriously tight, and raise the shutter early so the entrance arch can go up. Send your logo colours so the balloons frame the signboard instead of hiding it. In mall units, check with the mall management about decoration rules and permitted setup hours. For a clinic, keep the palette calm and the decoration out of patient areas. In summer, morning openings keep the balloons fresh for the photographs, since Delhi's afternoon sun on a shop front wilts them quickly.
Delhi's coaching hubs, especially Mukherjee Nagar and Old Rajinder Nagar for civil services and the many institutes across the city for other entrance exams, celebrate results with felicitation events. A backdrop with the institute's name and the result year, and an arch at the hall entrance, make every topper's photograph look its best. Share the text to print, the event time and the number of toppers being felicitated, so the stage has room for everyone.
January brings Lohri celebrations in many offices and Republic Day on the 26th. March closes the financial year, with farewells and appraisal parties. Holi is usually celebrated in offices before the holiday. Independence Day in August is another busy morning. October and November bring Diwali parties, gifting and shop openings, and Karwa Chauth events in some offices. December ends with Christmas and New Year celebrations. Book early for any of these; on poor air-quality days in November, keep events indoors.
Delhi offices mark the festival calendar with real enthusiasm. In mid-January, many workplaces celebrate Lohri with rewri, gajak and peanuts, sometimes a small bonfire in an open area and bhangra in the cafeteria; a backdrop in red, orange and gold gives teams a spot for photos, well away from any flame. Before Holi, offices often hold a dry, organic-colour celebration on the terrace or in the parking area, and a balloon arch at the entrance sets the mood without competing with the gulaal. Diwali brings the biggest parties of the year, with gold, red and orange balloons and fairy lights at reception, a rangoli and a gifting table. In late October and November, on days when the air is poor, keep the celebration indoors.
For Delhi's traders, some dates matter more than any corporate calendar. Jewellers in Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk and Lajpat Nagar expect their busiest days on Dhanteras and Akshaya Tritiya, and a festive entrance arch helps draw customers in. Old-city businesses mark their shop's anniversary, the Diwali puja when the new bahi-khata is opened, and Eid. For all of these, book an early-morning slot so the setup is done before customers arrive, keep the doorway clear, and tell us the occasion so we choose appropriate colours.
From Okhla and Nehru Place to Hauz Khas and Connaught Place, Delhi's co-working spaces are full of startups celebrating funding rounds, first customers, new hires and anniversaries. Ask the community manager where you're allowed to set up, and whether you need to book an event zone or meeting room. Keep the setup compact so it doesn't spill onto other companies' desks, clear it the same day, and add a printed board with your company name for the photo that ends up on LinkedIn.
Delhi's professionals move a lot, to Gurugram, Bengaluru or abroad, and farewells are frequent. The best are simple: a backdrop in the colleague's favourite colours, a board with a line from the team, a cake, ten minutes of speeches, and a video message from colleagues who couldn't be there, played on the meeting-room screen. For someone emigrating, the flag of their new country on the board is a playful touch.
After the office farewell, many Delhi families host relatives and old colleagues at home in the evening. It's warmer and more personal: garlands, speeches from the grandchildren, dinner and plenty of old stories. Ivory and gold, or maroon and gold, with a sofa in front for the couple and a board with the name, designation and years of service, suits it. In a kothi, the drawing room or lawn works well; in a builder floor, the living room or a covered rooftop.
| Space | What fits | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Cabin or desk cluster | Ceiling balloons and a banner | Keep walkways clear |
| Conference room | Compact backdrop with columns | Face it towards the door |
| Cafeteria or terrace | Arch with a photo wall | Set up outside lunch hours |
| Auditorium stage | Wide backdrop, entrance arch | Coordinate with the AV team |
| Showroom front | Entrance arch framing the sign | Check mall or market rules |
Delhi's schools book stage backdrops for annual days, Children's Day and Class 12 farewells; finish the setup before assembly and let security know the decorator's name. Hospitals and clinics celebrate openings, Doctors' Day on 1 July and staff farewells, and decoration must stay in lobbies, auditoriums or staff areas, never near wards, in calm whites, blues and silvers. Universities and colleges hold fests and convocations where an entrance arch and a named backdrop give students the photograph they'll post that evening. RWAs across the city also book decorations for Republic Day, Independence Day and Diwali melas in the colony park or community centre.
Settle the date and time with the department first, usually after lunch on the last working day. Pick a room with one clear wall and space for a table holding the memento, shawl and sweets. Ask colleagues how the retiree likes to be named on a board. Arrange the decorator's entry. Put a comfortable chair at the centre, because every group photograph will have the retiree seated there. Keep the speeches short, and serve the sweets at the end, when everyone gathers round for one last group photograph with the retiree.
Getting a decorator across Delhi at nine in the morning is its own project. Traffic on the Ring Road, around ITO, Ashram and Dhaula Kuan, and into Nehru Place and Okhla can add a lot of time at peak hours. For an event that must be ready by a fixed time, such as a 10 am flag hoisting or an 11 am opening puja, book the earliest slot available and share the exact entrance and parking arrangements, so no time is lost circling the block. For events in the afternoon, a late-morning slot usually avoids the worst of the traffic.
Events for clients, investors or leadership need restraint. At a launch in an Aerocity ballroom or a town hall in a Nehru Place auditorium, stick to white, silver and your single brand colour, push the balloon columns to the sides of the stage, and leave the middle for the LED screen or the logo standee. Send us the stage plan and tell us when the AV crew is setting up, so our stands and their cables don't compete for floor space. When a client is visiting, one neat display at reception usually impresses more than a room full of balloons.
An approval mail usually needs three things: the design link, the date and place, and the payment and refund terms. Booking is confirmed with a 30% advance or full online payment; cancellations within the first 24 hours get a full refund, and later ones may attract a fee. Finance teams with specific billing requirements should call us before booking. On the day, keep one named person reachable, have the gate pass ready, clear the wall, and show the decorator the nearest socket if the design has lights. Allow an hour or two for most designs and longer for an opening arch.
When a teammate has a baby, a balloon bouquet in Delhi delivered home is a warm gesture. For a colleague's wedding, see haldi and mehndi decoration in Delhi. For a big children's party, see the birthday organiser packages in Delhi. The Funtook Delhi page lists everything we offer.
Finished office setups can be seen on our recent work page, and the About Funtook page explains who we are. The team is on +91 95086 38307 and the contact page; the cancellation policy sets out refunds.
