Balloon Decoration in Bihar Sharif starts at ₹1,499 and goes up to large setups at ₹19,999, for birthdays, anniversaries, homecomings and small functions. You choose a fixed-price design, and a decorator puts it up at your home, flat, hall, hotel room or office anywhere from Sohsarai to Ranabigha.

A cousin comes home to Shivpuri

Say your cousin is returning to Shivpuri after two years of work in another state, and the family wants the house to look festive when his auto stops at the gate. You book a 5 PM slot, and the decorator fills the veranda and front room with balloons in his favourite colours. Your aunt takes care of the snacks and the kheer. All you have to do is get him to stand still for one photo before the hugging starts.

Balloon tips for Bihar Sharif weather and venues

• Balloons do not like heat. In May, the hottest month here, choose an evening slot and keep the room cool before the decorator starts.
• The monsoon usually runs from mid-June to September, and July brings the most rain. Indoor setups last better than ones on an open roof.
• For a hall in Sohsarai or near Bari Pahari, ask the venue when you can enter and whether they allow tape or stands.
• Share a landmark people know, like the Sadar Hospital at Chhoti Pahari, the government bus stand or Nalanda College, so the decorator reaches your gate on time.

What is included

Each design page lists the balloons, foil letters, stands or backdrop that come with it, and the price covers putting it all up. Anything not listed, such as food or a cake, is yours to arrange.
