Coming home to Chanakya Nagar

Picture a family waiting for discharge papers on a winter afternoon. While the parents are still at the hospital, the grandmother books a slot for the house in Chanakya Nagar. The decorator puts up a welcome set at the door and a soft blue corner in the room where the cradle will go. When the car pulls up, the aunts are at the gate with the aarti thali.

Newborn homecoming tips for Begusarai

• Discharge times move. Same-day slots start two hours after booking, so book as soon as the doctor gives you a time.
• Keep balloons away from the cot. Ask for the setup at the entrance or in the sitting room.
• For an annaprashan, the date usually comes from the family pandit. Once it is fixed, book a morning slot before the puja.
• In the May and June heat, cool the room before the baby comes in, and keep any outdoor gate setup short.

What is included

The balloons, banner and props listed on the design, set up at your home. Sweets for visitors, the puja and the venue are arranged by the family.
