Coming home to Chitragupta Nagar

Picture a new mother being discharged on a Thursday afternoon, while her husband is still flying back from Dubai. His sister books a 2 PM slot at their house in Chitragupta Nagar. The decorator puts up a welcome arch at the door and soft pink balloons around the bed. When the father walks in the next evening, the room is still ready for his first photos with his daughter.

Bringing baby home in Siwan: practical tips

• Discharge times are hard to predict. Book a slot a little after the expected time, and remember a same-day slot needs at least two hours' notice.
• Keep balloons away from the cot and out of reach of older siblings. Tell the decorator which corner the baby will sleep in.
• Siwan's winter nights can drop to around 4°C. If a room heater will run, ask for the balloons on the walls farthest from it.
• For an annaprashan, a morning slot keeps both the ritual and the decoration in daylight photos.

What is included

Balloons, banners and props shown on the design, plus setup at home. Sweets, puja items and food for guests are arranged by the family.
