A sixteenth birthday off VIP Road, Benta

Picture a family in a first-floor flat off VIP Road in Benta. The daughter turns sixteen, and her cousins are coming over from Lalbagh after college. The decorator arrives for the 5 PM slot and puts up a black and silver balloon wall in the drawing room while the cake is still being picked up. By seven the lights are dimmed, the photo corner is ready, and nobody had to climb a stool.

Birthday Decoration in Darbhanga: planning tips

• If you have booked a birthday party restaurant in Darbhanga or a hotel hall, ask the manager about balloon rules and how early a decorator may enter before you pick the slot.
• May is the hottest month here, with days up to about 43 °C. Latex balloons do not like a hot, shut room, so an evening slot is the safer choice in summer.
• Birthdays in Kartik, roughly late October to November, can clash with Chhath and Sama Chakeva, when homes are full of guests. Book a few days ahead.
• Give the decorator a chowk to aim for, such as Donar Chowk, Bela Mor, Benta Chowk or Laheriasarai Tower Chowk, plus a phone number that will be answered.

What is included

Each design page lists exactly what comes with that setup. The decorator brings those items and puts them up at your place. The cake, food and venue are yours to arrange unless the design says otherwise.
