A Spiderman party near Bodhwan Talab

Say your son turns seven and talks only about Spiderman. Your home is off Khaira Road, close to Bodhwan Talab, and his school friends are coming at five. You book a 3 PM slot, and the decorator puts up red and blue balloons, a web backdrop and his name in the middle. By the time the first friend rings the bell, he is already in his costume, posing in front of it.

Theme party tips for Jamui parents

• The road through Bodhwan Talab Chowk gets jammed. Tell guests coming from the Kachahari side to leave a little early.
• For a party between Deepawali and Chhath, expect evening crowds near the Malaypur Kali mela and plan pick-ups around them.
• Keep the party indoors on hot afternoons and keep a fan near the backdrop so the balloons stay firm.
• Small children and balloons need watching. Ask an adult to clear any burst pieces as the party goes on.

What is included

The theme backdrop, balloons and cut-outs listed on the design, set up by the decorator. Cake, return gifts and food are arranged by you unless the design says otherwise.
