A dinosaur Saturday in Chandmari

A typical Saturday might look like this. Your son turns six, talks about nothing but dinosaurs, and twelve friends from his class are coming at five. You book a 2 PM slot so the setup is finished before the guests arrive, and the decorator turns the main room of your Chandmari house into the dinosaur scene you picked. The children spend the first ten minutes pointing at the dinosaurs, and you get a few quiet minutes to light the candles.

Theme party tips for Motihari parents

• Book the slot two or three hours before the party starts, so the room is finished before excited children arrive.
• Motihari's hottest weeks fall around May. Keep the party in a room with a fan or AC, and switch the fan off near the balloon backdrop.
• For a theme party in a hotel banquet room on NH 28A or a hall near Chandrahiya, ask the venue to clear chairs from the backdrop wall before the decorator arrives.
• Ask your child which characters they want before you book. Themes differ in the cutouts and colours they use.

What is included

The theme backdrop, balloons and character props listed on the design page, set up by the decorator. Return gifts, the theme cake and snacks are for you to arrange.
