Welcome Baby Decoration in Banka

Welcome Baby Decoration in Banka starts at ₹1,499, and the decorator sets it up at home before the mother and baby come back from the hospital. There are separate designs for a baby boy, a baby girl and twins, plus annaprashan setups for the first rice meal a few months later.

A typical homecoming in Babutola

A typical day looks like this. The doctor says mother and baby can go home after lunch, and the grandparents in Babutola want the house to look ready. You book a 1 PM slot that morning, a little over two hours ahead. The decorator puts up pink balloons, a welcome banner and a name board at the main door and in the bedroom. When the car stops outside, the family is waiting with the aarti thali.

Welcoming a newborn home in Banka: what helps

• Discharge times can shift. Book a slot that ends well before you leave the hospital, as same-day slots start two hours after booking.
• Ask the decorator to keep balloons high and away from the baby's cot, and to clear any loose pieces after setup.
• In the hot months, keep the welcome setup in a room that stays cool, so the baby is comfortable during photos.
• For an annaprashan later, plan the backdrop in the room where the puja happens, so elders do not have to move.

What is included

The balloons, banner and props listed on the design you choose, set up by the decorator at home. Sweets, puja items and the venue are your part unless the design says otherwise.
