Picture a silver anniversary in Azad Nagar

Say your parents in Azad Nagar complete twenty-five years of marriage in November. Your father likes to tell guests that on a clear day after rain you can see the Kangchenjunga peaks from Araria, and he plans a morning walk to look for them. While they are out, the decorator sets up a red and white heart backdrop in their bedroom in a 7 AM slot. They come back to find it, along with the photo album you left on the bed. Breakfast that day takes a long time.

Anniversary tips for couples in Araria

• Winter is wedding season across Bihar, so many Araria anniversaries fall between November and February. Book a few days ahead for those dates.
• In a joint-family house, a bedroom surprise is easier to hide than the drawing room. Ask a cousin to keep the couple busy for the hour of the slot.
• If the surprise is in a hotel room, check with the front desk that a decorator may go up, and give the room number when you book.
• Share a landmark on Bhagat Singh Road, Kali Mandir Road or near ADB Chowk so the decorator reaches the right gate first time.

What is included
