A silver jubilee evening in Ramnagar

Imagine your parents' 25th anniversary falls on a Sunday in January. Your brother takes them to the Mahavir temple at RN Saw Chowk in the evening. While they are away, the decorator sets up a red and gold ring backdrop in the front room of your Ramnagar house. Relatives come over from Katihar with sweets, the lights are dimmed, and your parents walk in to find the arch ready and the wedding photo you framed placed on the table in front of it.

Anniversary Decoration in Purnia: designs and prices

Planning an anniversary in Purnia: a few pointers

• Purnia's cool season runs from November to February. Those evenings are the most comfortable time for a terrace or courtyard setup.
• Booking a hotel room in the city for the night? Ask the front desk when the room will be free and whether balloons on the walls are allowed.
• If the day begins with a temple visit, book a slot that starts after you leave. The decorator then has an empty house to work in.
• In a joint family home in the old town, tell us which room is yours, so the setup stays in that room and the rest of the house carries on as usual.

What is included

Balloons, backdrop and props as listed for the design, along with the setup. Flowers, the cake and dinner are not part of it unless the design's page says so.
