A dinosaur party in Kailashpuri

Picture your son turning five in a rented flat in Kailashpuri, Dumra. He has watched dinosaur videos all year, so you choose the dinosaur theme for the Sunday 3 PM slot. The decorator sets up the living-room wall while you collect the cake from the bazaar. By the time his cousins arrive from Rajopatti, the room looks like a jungle, and nobody can get him to sit still for the candles.

Theme party tips for Sitamarhi parents

• If the party is in a hall near a busy junction such as Mehsaul Chowk or Bhawdepur Chowk, book a slot at least an hour before guests are due, so the setup is not delayed by traffic.
• Sitamarhi is flood-prone and some parts of town sit low. For a party between July and September, keep it indoors and tell the decorator the driest way to your door.
• Cousins coming in from Riga, Bajpatti or Dumra? Start the cake once everyone is in; the decoration will be ready from your slot onward.
• Keep toddlers under three away from loose balloons and small props once the setup is done.

What is included

The theme backdrop, balloons and character props listed for that design, set up at your home or hall. Cake, return gifts and food are yours to arrange.
