Welcome Baby Decoration in Kishanganj

Welcome Baby Decoration in Kishanganj starts at ₹1,499 on Funtook, with 62 designs for a baby girl, a baby boy, twins and the annaprashan. A decorator gets the door and the main room ready at the time you choose, so the welcome is in place before the baby arrives.

Say the baby comes home in the July rain

Picture a baby boy born in the middle of July, Kishanganj's wettest month, coming home to his grandparents' house in Dharamganj. Water has collected again on the road towards the station, so the family plans the car's route through drier lanes. You book a 12 PM slot, and the decorator sets up a blue and white welcome arch inside the verandah rather than at the open gate. When the baby is carried in, his grandmother is waiting with the aarti, and nobody minds the rain.

Newborn welcome tips for Kishanganj families

• If the mother and baby are coming from a hospital on Hospital Road or Medical College Road, wait for the discharge time, then book a slot two hours or more ahead.
• In the monsoon, keep the welcome arch under the verandah or inside the door. Wet balloons do not photograph well.
• Leave the baby's own room plain. Put the decoration in the entrance and the room where visitors will sit.
• For an annaprashan, book a morning slot so the setup is done before the puja and the first rice.

What is included

The welcome arch, balloons or backdrop listed on the design, set up at your home. Sweets, gifts and puja items are arranged by the family.
